I look young (even for my age), and prospective tenants always take a double take when they fail to see a 50y/o open the door. I dabbled with saying that "I manage the property for my parents," but doubted that would instill much confidence anyhow. I finally was able to round up some tenants when i had my girlfriend show the apartment with me. The tenants assumed she was my wife, and seemed a bit shocked when i set them straight. Luckily it was after the lease was signed - but i still wonder if that would have been a deal breaker. Anyhow, keep on with the blog! And best luck with the house! I love your blog!
